“Woman in White” is a new song written by Robert Hunter of the Grateful Dead in collaboration with Jerry Lawson, the former lead singer of The Persuasions. Jerry just put out his first solo record; it’s called Just a Mortal Man, and it’s on Red Beet Records out of Nashville. Jerry got a little vocal help from Jim Lauderdale on this track – and of course Lauderdale is Hunter’s principal songwriting partner these days. Small world, ain’t it!
