Latest News

Here is the latest news from David Gans, producer and host of the Grateful Dead Hour.

Playing the Freight Wednesday evening

I am playing the Freight and Salvage in Berkeley this Wednesday, November 23 at 8pm, co-billed with the weird and wonderful Baby Gramps. If you’re in the area and not queued up at an airport trying to get somewhere else for Thanksgiving day, I hope you’ll consider coming to this show. A gig at the Freight is always a wonderful thing – a great venue for sure! – and not easy to get, so the better the turnout the more likely both Gramps and I are to get another one later. More importantly, I have had a great year as a performer and I am at the top of my game. On a roll, even! Advance tickets are available here. The Freight and Salvage is located at 2020 Addison Street, Berkeley, CA 94704. Phone (510) 644-2020 Tim Lynch will cover for me on Dead to the World.
