Grateful Dead Productions, announcing a full show releases titled To Terrapin: Hartford ’77, the complete concert of May 28, 1977. Mastered in HDCD from the original two-track reels, To Terrapin documents the final show of the much-praised spring tour. It’s available April 7. My friend Angie Coiro is back on the air at San Francisco’s Green 960, weeknights 6-8pm Pacific. The Angie Coiro Show joins the station’s progressive talk lineup alongside Rachel Maddow, Stephanie Miller, Thom Hartmann, et al. Call in at 1.866.960.5753 or join the liveblog.

Full disclosure: we’re friends and ongoing scrabble opponents. And Angie uses my song “It’s Gonna Get Better” as her closing theme, and sometimes she also played “Echolalia” in her mid-show break. But I want you to listen because Angie is smart, compassionate, lively, and liberal and her show steers clear of shouting and name-calling. You want substance and heart in your political talk, give Angie a try. You can listen online from anywhere on Earth, of course.

Dear Festival Family,

Suwannee Springfest 09 was simply the best! The music was in the air, and smiling faces were everywhere. Stay tuned for pics, reviews and music from the 13th Annual Suwannee Springfest. 

Many of you know that we did not increase ticket prices for Suwannee Springfest. That makes our “in between” festival situations financially tighter. Out of necessity, our MagnoliaFest 09 ticket prices will increase and early bird tickets will go on sale later this month. In the meantime, we have a special offer for this week only. We are offering 500 Extra Special Early Bird Tickets for $100 each. These MagnoliaFest Extra Special Early Bird Tickets are on sale now until 500 are sold or thru Sunday, April 12th, whichever comes first. These are available online only – no phone orders are being accepted as our office will be closed this week.  If you are in a position to purchase, we’d be especially grateful if you went online and did so sooner rather than later. We will distribute MagnoliaFest tickets ordered in April May & June in late June.
