Pretenders boxed set samplers
Hello listeners!
I’ve got half a dozen copies of a 16-song sampler CD for The Pretenders‘ boxed set Pirate Radio, courtesy of Rhino Records.
Pirate Radio is four CDs and a DVD; 81 tracks and 19 videos; 15 previously-unreleased tracks. Excellent music! Chrissie Hynde is one of the greats.

Support for the Grateful Dead Hour comes this week from Backstage Auctions, presenting a “San Francisco Rock Icon” auction featuring more than 5,000 pieces from managers and musicians associated with the Grateful Dead, Santana, Jefferson Airplane, Steve Miller, Journey and others, including gold and platinum record awards, vinyl, posters, vintage concert t-shirts, and more. The auction will be held online April 23 – 30, with previews starting April 17.

“Days Between” composite
I had many requests to rebroadcast the “Days Between” composite that first aired in 1994 (GDH 297, week of 5/30/94; rebroadcast in GDH 367, week of 10/2/95); I played it again in GDH 913 (week 0f 3/20/06), and now I’ve posted it for your perpetual listening pleasure. Enjoy!
This composite is taken from the 3/28/94 and 4/4/94 performances; I don’t remember how many times it switches back and forth.
