Ooh great start David! I think this is the show with the wonderful Eyes of The World in set 2?
Greetings from Novi Sad Serbia
Fantastic opening sequence from a phenomenal Midwest show. While I do think early May is the ZENITH of 1977, I have slowly begun to feel Fall Tour may be stronger overall?!?? Subtleties I have zeroed in on cause this feeling more and more each listen. In the end, it’s all good!
Thanks for all you’ve done over the years to spread this music and the love!
See everybody in Chicago!
The DeKalb show was the day after my second show in KC.
Sounding crispy David. Real crispy! Thanks. I always love your choices – there’s a quality / trust behind it – just know it’s gonna / is good and crispy, and I enjoy that. Stuff I wouldn’t usually sit down to listen to, but when it’s spun by Gans, I know it’s going to be delicious.
Listening right now on my TV (Comcast channel 967 in Sonoma County) Sorry I missed “Sugaree” because I was in a long line at my bank.
I was at that DeKalb show. It was excellent and the memory comes to mind easily. Everybody dressed for Halloween, that was only two days away. Even the staff got into it, our usher was a Gorilla.
Thanks for pronouncing my name right. No relation to Dave Hebert though. But will you be playing any JGB today?
David, thanks for reading my donation dedication, and within seconds after I made it! Great work and great show.
Greetings from Pembroke Pines Florida! Comin’ in loud and clear!!!!!
David, thanks once again for the virtual gathering of the tribe. And thanks tribe members everywhere for connecting across space (and in a sense even time). A high point of the year, for sure.
David, many thanks for another outstanding marathon tune selection! Early congratulations on your 30th Anniversary of broadcasting, and from Serbia I bid you goodnight :-
Thanks David! We enjoyed what we were able to hear. Looking forward to marathon number 30!
Thanks David! We enjoyed what we were able to listen to on our crappy Hughesnet dish.
Looking forward to marathon number 30!
