Some different lyrics in this early performance of “West LA Fadeaway”:

Didn’t want to be uptight about it…

Here’s what ginger says
She walks like she ain’t nobody’s fool
Here’s what ginger said
She tries to live by the golden rule
She said, you treat other people all right
You know other people probably treat you cool

Red-hot items for the mob
The pay is pathetic

I transcribed those last month, listening to this while on tour. I haven’t noted all the differences in the debut of “Throwing Stones,” but there are plenty of ’em.

  1. A few days after this show was the first Throwing Stones > Not Fade Away. It was pretty high energy in NYC that night. We were very excited about the segue. Not sure i would have been as excited had I known how many times we were gonna see that segue over the years. Either way, it still was fun. This tour was a blast.
