I’m on vacation in Hawaii, and as luck would have it, KKCR is doing their fund drive right now so I have an opportunity to assist. I’ll be on the air with Jackie Row and Dove (plus possible surprise guests) from 6pm until probably around 10pm Hawaiian time. That’s 9pm to 1am Pacific, midnight to 4am Eastern, 5am to 9am London. This time slot features our kind of music every week: Grateful Dead and friends (including the GD Hour) 6-8pm HT, and Fresh Jams 8-10pm.

It sounds like Hawaii is active; when Downtown Deb is done with her Saturday night in Oregon. She went only an hour last night and they switched to a live band from SF at 8:00 PM. I don’t remember the name; but they’re not to bad either.
I’ll have to check this KKCR show out next weekend. There isn’t much on TV at that time any way…
