Electric Hummus!

Got this gig announcement today:

Gone are the days when Jerry Garcia and the Grateful Dead roamed the country, but his legacy is the music he left behind. Playin’ Dead, Boston’s top Grateful Dead tribute, brings that Deadhead vibe to its shows. Featuring former members of Dark Star Orchestra, Laughing Water, Electric Hummus and Tampa’s Uncle John’s Band, Playin’ Dead is a six-piece rainbow full of sound that proves the Dead’s music will never stop.

  1. Electric Hummus was this bands former name. They’ve been Playin’ Dead for a few years now, with regular gigs around greater Boston and New England.

They’re good, and a lot of fun! Rhythm guitarist/singer Jim Harris was the “Bob Weir role” in Dark Star Orchestra for a few years before Rob Eaton.
