Interview: Graham Nash

Graham Nash’s 1971 solo album Songs for Beginners has just been rereleased in a deluxe package with a stereo remix and a surround-sound audio DVD. The interview is by Rich Mahan at Rhino. There’s a lovely Joel Bernstein photo of Graham Nash and Jerry Garcia in a green room somewhere, each with an acoustic guitar in hand and a cigarette dangling from his lips; there’s another acoustic guitar (Crosby’s?) in a chair between them.

Ratdog live shows are available at the gigs and also online from ratdoglive.com

Support for the Grateful Dead Hour comes this week from:

SCI Fidelity Records, presenting Keller Williams with Moseley, Droll & Sipe LIVE, a double live CD plus a concert DVD, recorded during the winter 2007-2008 tour, with 17 tracks that span Keller’s career. Sound samples and online ordering at kellerwilliams.net.

Grateful Dead Productions, announcing Road Trips volume 1 number 4, From Egypt with Love – a companion release to the new Egypt set featuring highlights of the band’s October 1978 run at Winterland. Two CDs plus a limited edition bonus disc, with several special guests and a very rare live performance of “If I Had the World to Give.” You can order Rocking The Cradle: Egypt 1978 and From Egypt With Love together. More information, sample audio, and ordering link on the official web site, dead.net.
