Dark Star – Ladies and Gentlemen… The Grateful Dead (4-28-71 Fillmore East)
Leftovers for Christmas? Well, sorta. I spent the last couple of weeks deep in Dark Star land, preparing for last Sunday’s 24-hour Dark Star marathon on the Sirius XM Grateful Dead Channel (Sirius 32, XM 57). Tonight, interspersed with some of my favorite weird xmas music, are two of my favorite Dark Stars.
And speaking of marathons, the annual 16-hour KPFA marathon is scheduled for Saturday, January 31, 9 am to 1 am Pacific time. Details TBA.
