“I’m coming back baby, baby I’m coming home
I’m coming back baby, baby I’m coming home
The way I love you darling
You’ve got to, got to know”
Ron McKernan
Ouch, $99.00 and $69.00 is outrageous. I think they forgot that there is a recession.
Dave, I’m with you, man. That’s a LOT of money to not see Jerry.
Here’s a game we can play. My first Dead ticket cost $8. Beat that. How low can go? (Face value only, don’t worry about surcharges, should there have been any.)
My first Dead ticket cost $3. Of course that included a couple other bands. The next ticket cost a whopping $7. But that was new year’s eve and included Quicksilver Messenger Service, Santana Blues Band, and It’s a Beautiful Day. Oh, and also breakfast, so I guess it was worth it.:-)

This whole tour sale seems to have been a field day for the scalpers, both corporate and individual. I’m sure that scalpers are why most of these online presales quickly sold out.
Selling concert tickets appears to be a whole new ball game in the New Millennium of Greed.
You will be arrested if the police catch you trying to resell your tickets for a higher price in the parking lot. It was time to outlaw these of-site thieving ticket brokers a long time ago.
Same goes for the jerks, who tried to sell their FREE Obama Innauguration tickets on EBAY. Some members of Congress went nuts after seeing their giveaways being sold for thousands of dirty $$$’s each.
Time to ban this racket too. Where is the IRS?
I’m sitting this one out. I plan to take the $105 I woulda spent for a seat at Shoreline and pledge it to KPFA during David’s marathon.
I am one of the lucky few with a free ticket!
