The lyrics for all but one of the songs on Bob Dylan’s new album are credited to Bob and Robert Hunter! A great collaboration between two great scholars of musical Americana. Hunter is on a roll these days: I’m also really delighted with his work with David Nelson on the new NRPS CD, Where I Come From.

All of the shows for the Dead’s just-completed tour are available for download as MP3 or FLAC files.

The Grateful Dead Hour is made possible in part this week by Rhino Records, announcing the DVD release of Last Days of the Fillmore, with live performances by the Grateful Dead, Santana, Quicksilver, Jefferson Airplane, and others, plus backstage footage of Bill Graham and the musicians during the final week of San Francisco’s legendary music venue.
