  1. Well, I was one of a very “select” audience of about 10 (!) in Sutter Creek, and found David’s performance with his 2nd time only trio to be heartwarming and brave! It’s tough playing to a small audience, but also a unique opportunity. Sutter Creek has hosted Patty Larkin, who also loops quite a bit, and uses Kyser cut capos to advantage. She too talks with the fans in the lobby – a wonderful Sutter Creek advantage, since we’re not discovered yet. The only thing better goin’ on than the trio’s performance is the new CD, “The Ones That Look The Weirdest Taste The Best”. Great lyrics, with a welcome edge in these times, and several hummable, catchy tunes, with solid arrangements tying it all together. Thanks so much, David, for coming out – yes, Mt. Diablo, & Amador County are beautifully green this time of year!
