Keep trying to figure out who Pig’s side kick was.
Was there already speculation already that Woodstock’s guest vocalist and the one heard herein are the same?
I don’t see any reason to think it’s the same person.
Right.
But, is anything about that guy even known?
Maybe the mic was cue monitor only and the audience did not get quite nearly as much of the other vocal over the band.
Perhaps, on both recordings, Pig is able to cut over the other guy’s trip like he wasn’t hearing his rap too clearly, or not even distracted by it much at all — I need to listen to 3/8/70 again.
Looks like the crew and band may have invited a few guys from ‘where-ever’, on up for what must’ve seemed like a big wide open rap session.
I can like that an unknown guy, who was pretty much hammered, and who was in the moment — a rapping maniac, maybe trying to sing, is in the on the jam somehow, but who was he?
Mmmm
Maybe we’ll never know…
