David Bromberg is a versatile American musician whose career dates back to the late ’60s. He did a recording session in San Francisco in the early ’70s with Jerry Garcia, Phil Lesh, Bill Kreutzmann and Keith Godchaux of the Grateful Dead; two songs were released in ’72 on the album Demon in Disguise, and four more came out in 1974 on the album Wanted Dead or Alive. “The Holdup” was written by Bromberg and George Harrison and features the four Dead guys.

The legendary Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York. Live music is featured six nights a weeks at the venue’s nightclub, Garcia’s. On Tuesday, July 22, Melvin Seals, the mastermind behind the Hammond B-3 Organ who played with Jerry Garcia Band for over 15 years, performs with Melvin Seals and JGB at Garcia’s. ?Acoustically Speaking featuring members of The Garcia Project will open the night.
