Netflix, presenting The Other One: The Long, Strange Trip of Bob Weir, a revealing look at Bob Weir and the Grateful Dead, chronicling Weir’s wild ride from founding member of the band to rock icon status and his friendship with Jerry Garcia. The Other One includes rare archival concert and behind-the-scenes footage, plus interviews with fellow band members, relatives and Weir himself. The Other One: The Long, Strange Trip of Bob Weir is now streaming on Netflix.
The Jerry Garcia Family and Round Records, announcing On Broadway: Act One, the first installment in a new archival series celebrating the Jerry’s magical 13-night run on Broadway. On Broadway: Act One – October 28th, 1987 presents three previously unreleased complete sets: matinee and evening acoustic sets from the Jerry Garcia Acoustic Band plus the evening electric set from the Jerry Garcia Band. On Broadway: Act One is currently available for pre-order on JerryGarcia.com in advance of its release on June 23rd.
The Capitol Theatre in Port Chester, New York, a historic venue whose stage the Grateful Dead played 18 times in 1970 and 1971 alone.
