Disc 2 of the Aoxomoxoa remaster is an amazing collection of intense performances from January 24-26, 1969 at the Avalon Ballroom. A terrific package in every way. I love being able to compare the two mixes of the album.

Support for the Grateful Dead Hour comes this week from The Capitol Theatre and Garcia’s in Port Chester, New York. SoulShine will play a special Allman Brothers edition of DeadCenter at Garcia’s on Wednesday, July 24. And on Jerry’s birthday Thursday, August 1, Garcia’s will have live music by The Garcia Project and a Gallery Experience of Jerry Garcia’s Art Collection by StraxArt with Augmented Reality.
