That’s it for set 1 of 6/11/76. Set 2 starts next week, and it’s amazing! Lots of new music, interesting sequences, and some fine jamming. So tune in again next week! And thanks again to Charlie Miller for restoring the tape and sending it to me for broadcast.

Dead & Company live concerts are available in a variety of audio formats at livedead.co. Here’s a direct link to the 6/26/19 recording.

Scott Guberman and I got together in February to write a song. I had one line of lyric and melody that had been bouncing around inside my skull since 1995, and after a three-hour session we had this song, “The Town That Still Believes in Magic.” So you could say it took 24 years and three hours to write it! In April, we went into the studio with the great Robin Sylvester (Ratdog) on bass and Greg Anton (Zero) on drums. You can buy the song (or download it for free) on bandcamp. Enjoy!
