I love the fall 1979 shows! Brent Mydland was working his way into the conversation nicely. And there are several performances of “Saint of Circumstance” – including this one! – that really opened up into some fine jams.

Support for the Grateful Dead Hour comes this week from The Capitol Theatre and Garcia’s in Port Chester, New York. Phil Lesh & Friends has been postponed until further notice while Phil recovers from surgery, so Dark Star Orchestra will perform a special Halloween Run on October 31 and November 1st and 2nd, re-creating classic shows from the Dead’s historic performances at the Cap.
