Corry Arnold is a blogger who does amazing research on the history of the Grateful Dead and related historical and musical subjects. Lost Live Dead is an indispensable resource if you’re interested in this stuff. Here is his entry on the fascinating events of a weekend at the Fillmore West in June of 1969.
Corry was born and raised in Northern California. His first rock concert was the Grateful Dead at Winterland on December 12, 1972, and “things have been hopeless ever since.” From that time onwards, he has been working on rock and roll history, with an emphasis on the forgotten and the unseen. In addition to Lost Live Dead, Corry posts great stuff at Hooterollin’ Around, Rock Prosopography 101, and Rock Archaeology 101.
Corry is also a co-conspirator on the Chicken On A Unicycle site
