Jim Lauderdale‘s collaboration with the Grateful Dead’s lyricist, Robert Hunter, continues to yield delicious fruit. Jim has just released two CDs of new Hunter-Lauderdale songs. One is solo acoustic, the other a full-band effort. I’ll be featuring more tracks from these wonderful discs in the weeks to come.

Support for the Grateful Dead Hour comes this week from The WELL, a pioneering social network with a Deadhead community that’s been telling stories and sharing information since 1986. There are thousands of other conversations in the WELL, too, and no ads, no animation – just words. Grateful Dead Almanac editor Gary Lambert is also a longtime member.
