8/3/69 is a VERY interesting show! There’s a saxophone player and a violin player, never identified on the tape, adding great stuff on the songs and jams. This recording will continue in next week’s show, and we’ll talk with historian Corry Arnold about who those guests might be – and who they definitely aren’t.

BTW I’m pretty sure it’s David Nelson playing the guitar solo in “Mama Tried.” Sounds much more like him than Jerry.
