EYES OF THE WORLD->
NEVER TRUST A WOMAN
This is an especially interesting stretch of music in a show that’s pretty great overall. “Eyes of the World” was usually delivered at a very fast clip in this period, but somehow the band tipped into a more relaxed, kinda cruising groove here. After Eyes, when Bob and Jerry left the stage for the drums, Brent Mydland stayed out there and eased into one of his sad blues songs, “Never Trust a Woman.” Phil Lesh stayed with him – and as the song unfolded, Jerry and Bob came back out and played some more. Enjoy!
