WFPK Louisville is dropping the GD Hour after this weekend. From program director Stacy Owen:

I’m writing to let you know I’ll be sunsetting the Grateful Dead Hour after this weekend in an effort to streamline our programming here at WFPK. The changes I’m making will allow us to deliver more independent and local music, provide a more consistent experience for listeners and give us the opportunity to bring some new voices to the WFPK team.

The Capitol Theatre and Garcia’s in Port Chester, New York! On Friday, September 16 it’s Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers guitarists Mike Campbell & The Dirty Knobs. On Tuesday, September 20, Little Feat plays “Waiting For Columbus” in its entirety! Pink Floyd Drummer Nick Mason performs songs from the early pink Floyd catalogue on September 26.
